EICR (Fixed Wire Testing)

What is an EICR (Fixed Wire Test)

Sometimes referred to as Fixed Wire Inspection and Test, an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a legal requirement for all UK workplaces, rental properties or buildings as stipulated in the Electrical work regulations 1989.

Irrespective of the age of the installation, in order to ensure compliance with the Electrical work regulations 1989
